Travel and Accommodation

Please look here for maps of campus and the University Center!

The University of California, Santa Barbara is located in Santa Barbara, CA. We encourage participants to travel by car or train, and to carpool when possible.

CUWiP requests that participants ask their departments for travel funding. You may approach your chair through an advisor or faculty member. If your department is unable to provide funding, please be aware that we have additional funding for CUWiP and SPIN UP participants. If you have questions about this process, or are unsure who to contact within your department, please email us at cuwip2019@physics.ucsb.edu by November 15!

Once you arrive at UCSB, CUWiP check-in will be at Corwin Pavilion. SPIN UP check-in will be at Mosher Alumni House. See the map at the bottom of this page.

On Friday night, Saturday morning, Saturday night, Sunday morning, and Sunday afternoon, buses will be provided to transport students between hotels and campus.
